"Salz & Pfeffer" article april 2008 by Tobias Hueberli

Salz & Pfeffer april 2008

Tobias Hueberli wrote in a local Swiss culinary magazine "Salz & Pfeffer" (salt & pepper) in its april issue an article about the successful international night event at IMI-Luzern University Centre. Since this local paper is in german language, here is the english translation:

"International Night at IMI International Night was a tremendous success with twelve different food stands, colourfully decorated to conjure up exotic images of the countries they represented. The delicious food served was plentiful with the students working hard to cook and serve everything from Egyptian fava beans, Japanese sushi, Thai fish paste, Korean kimchi to Vietnamese spring rolls. Some of the guests who attended the affair included representatives from Malaysian Airlines, Hotel Flora, Eurotravel LU, and Chaiyong Satjipanon and the Ambassador of Thailand! The entertainment further showcased students' talents with much singing, dancing, instrument playing and a most impressive piano performance. Students, staff, and guests could once again enjoy all the activities while mingling outdoors on the school's sunny terrace; a major advantage, especially considering the amount of rain everyone had endured during the two weeks prior! Once again, the overall event was deemed fantastic."
